In early March, Alconbury Weald Community Association appointed its new directors. Meet the friendly new faces bringing the community together in Alconbury Weald.

Martin is one of the new co-chairs of the association and is looking forward to supporting the fantastic community that first attracted him and his partner to the area. Martin can often be found running, riding his motorbike or walking his two rescue dogs.

Dan is the second half of the new co-chairs of the association. He is a 22-year British Army veteran, known for bringing strong leadership and clarity to complex situations. He has since transitioned into financial technology, leading DPMF to drive innovation and deliver future‑focused digital solutions.

Michael is the Treasurer for Alconbury Weald Community Association, bringing his experience in the financial world to help support our local community. In his spare time, he enjoys exercising through CrossFit sessions, and has a season ticket at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Gabby is the Secretary for the association, looking after all administrative duties and assisting with any enquiries. She has lived on the Weald with her fiancé since 2024, and in her spare time, she enjoys growing fruit and veg in her allotment, reading a good book, and exploring a new corner of the world.

Xenia is the Communications Lead, dealing with social media posts and event advertisement. Having moved around a lot within Cambridgeshire when she was younger, Xenia is extremely happy to have relocated to the Weald in December. I’m here spare time, she enjoys running, baking, and spending time with her family – husband Isaac, her young daughter Pollyanna, her cat Colin and her Mum, Maria.

Beth is the new Events Lead for the association and is looking forward to be helping to organise new events for the community and supporting new events ideas with anyone wanting to get involved. Originally from Gloucestershire, Beth moved to Alconbury Weald last year, and aims to set down firm roots with her partner, children, and two dogs.

Emma plays an integral role in the association through assisting members of the community, distributing resources, and fundraising to ensure that Alconbury Weald Community Association can continue to provide for its residents. She is an avid reader, and in her spare time, enjoys travelling, gardening, and socialising with friends.
