Encore update – roundabout outside of development who is responsible for cutting the grass – council. Cables in Elizabeth Walk have been removed. Drain cover has been replaced.
Scarecrow Festival – Micki on advertising. NLB has ordered 25 bales. Straw collection 1st and 2nd Sept from 10am-4pm. Display form 16th Sept, prize giving on 23rd.
Weld Walking Challenge – 100k over a month, every household that gets over 100k gets a prize. Discussions on logistics – maybe use Strava Teams. Would CCC want to get involved? Looking at May 2024 and could call it Spring in your Step.
Stukeley Parish Council – Sarah Jane in attendance. CIL money available. Vacancy on parish council. Discussed notice boards, Bus shelters, 20mph speed limit.
