  • Encore

    • Windsor Road allotments will be ready to handover on 2 July. A community get together is planned. Emails will go out to the allotment waitlist with details and agreements.
    • Bug hotel noticeboard by the school has stalled due to no response from the quoted company. Alternative suppliers are being explored.
    • Crescent Park has one bin installed. More may be coming. Tracey to follow up with the Property Management team.
    • Redrow handover is pending completion of remedial works. Redrow is working on this.
    • Boulevard wildflowers are not doing well this year. Tracey to raise with the gardeners.
  • VE Day review

    • Footfall approximately 1,500 to 2,000 across the day.
    • Positive feedback overall. 28 responses submitted online.
    • Income from the day was £390.
  • Open Gardens

    • Six gardens opened plus the community garden.
    • Approximately 150 visitors and £357 raised.
  • Food Festival

    • 13 stalls registered and invoiced.
  • Events team

    • Please review the events management attachment for details on what goes into each event.
    • Volunteers are needed to form an events team subcommittee. Roles are flexible and can suit strengths or stretch comfort zones.
    • Ideas to improve communication are welcome.
  • Finance update

    • Stukeley’s Pot balance is £305, allocated towards the September Family Funday.
    • Funding request submitted for £1,500 for the remainder of the Family Funday.
    • QOLF: £33.
    • U&C: £18.
    • Breheny: £2,000.
    • HF: £1,741.50.
    • CA funds: £976.
    • Allocations:

      • £100 for straw.
      • £80 for sunflower prizes.
      • £91.20 corporation tax for FY24/25.
    • Funds are available for projects, activities, or events. Please bring ideas to the committee.
  • Next meeting: 2 July.
  • AOB

    • Overgrown bushes at the roundabout to Alconbury village are the responsibility of Highways.

      Residents have experienced being redirected between councils.

      • Julia and Charlotte have contacted Tom Sanderson, who is following up. An update is expected at the next meeting.
    • Parking for the Watch office is in the X car park. Registration must be entered on the iPad at reception. Restrictions apply between Xam and Xpm.
